eLearning has increasingly featured as an important part of AMEE conference activities. This year eLearning sessions at AMEE 2006 will be concentrated during SMILE 2006 in a blend of plenaries, parallel workshops, courses and short communication sessions. There will be the opportunity also to explore a range of exhibits, to network with others with similar interests and to talk with experts in the field both formally and informally.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear the experiences of world-wide players, decision makers and users of new educational technologies and to evaluate and discuss their effectiveness and usefulness in the different phases of education including undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD, and across the different healthcare professions including medicine, nursing, veterinary medicine, professions allied to medicine and the pharmaceutical industry.

Organizers

The Symposium is organized by the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) in collaboration with Europe’s leading eLearning Technology Provider, Giunti Labs.
SMILE 2006 is a major pre-conference activity to the AMEE 2006 Conference taking place in Genoa. Enrolment in AMEE 2006 is not a requirement to attend the workshop.
